Police are today hunting for at least one gunman after a man was shot dead and several more were injured as violence erupted at an alleged swingers’ party attended by 450 people in a Surrey village.
Officers and paramedics were called to a £1million bungalow in Church Lane, Headley, at 2.30am today after neighbours heard gunshots. The body of a man in his thirties was found at the scene and several more suffered serious injuries.
One local source told MailOnline that the house next to the parish church hosted an annual party, believed to be for swingers, while another neighbour said some guests may have been from abroad and paid in euros to attend.
Surrey Police have said they have launched a major operation to ‘to identify and arrest those responsible’ and are working with neighbouring police forces to track them down.
Pictures taken of the property from above today show the bungalow is surrounded by police and its garden is covered in rubbish after last night’s party, including used contraception, one neighbour claimed.
The party was advertised online as ‘Pool Party Part 3. My League’ with tickets costing £20 and touted as taking place at ‘The Big Mansion’ at ‘A Posh Location in the Hills.’
